Contoh Descriptive Text of Place

Petra : The lost city

Petra is one of seven wonders in the world.
Petra in arabic is Al batra and in ancient greek means rocks. This site located in Ma’an, Jordan. It is a huge building width of approximately 50 m and a height of 45 m. This place famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system.
Petra possibly built in 312 BCE. The western unknown this site until 1812, when it was intorduced by Johann ludwig burckhardt from Swiss. It is a symbol of Jordan, as well as jordan’s most visited tourist attraction. Another name of petra is the rose city because the colour of the stone looks like rose.
The floors of the nave and the altar made ​​of multi-colored marble tiles. Both passages are decorated with mosaics. Mosaic style refers to the School of Gaza, which is very different from the schools Schools Madaba mosaic examples of which were found in previous days.

December 6, 1985, Petra was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO – the ancient city has been called “one of the most precious elements of the cultural heritage of mankind” and the July 7, 2007, Petra was named one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World”.

CULINARY EXPERIENCE


Last week, I went to volunteer’s house in Kraton, Pekalongan. As usual, I went there cause there’s work camp event. I met some new friends from korea, japan and germany. They’re really nice. I also met my old friends from germany such as tanja, nora, johanna, and rebecca. They said they missed me. 
First,  I came into the house then met a lot of new persons. I didn’t realize that it was a farewel party for them cause I didn’t met them at the first they came. They stayed for a weeks.
Then, I saw some of them still cooking in the kitchen.  They cooked really good. I try to help one of them. She from korea, so she made a food called kim bap. It looks like sushi. There were a lot of ingredients which I didn’t know it before. There were wassabi and some sauce from korea and japan.
Next, Time to tasted the foods. They served 4 country foods. Japan served salad with soy sauce. Korea served Kim bap and bim bim bap. Germany served potato salad. Then for Indonesia served fried noodle and kuwut ice. I felt like I was in  tv culinary program cause I tried so many foods from another country at the same time. :D
At that moment, I really enjoyed kim bap , salad from japan and of course fried noodle. Then I tried potato salad which is awful. Luckly, Tanja offered me to eat my potato salad cause she knew that I didn’t like it. I tried bimbim bap too. I saw that food from korean drama which I thought it’s really delicious. In fact, it’s not really good and the sauce too.

Lastly, I had to go home cause the clock showed it was nine PM. I was really happy and sad at the same time. I was happy cause I have culinary experience and sad cause I coudln’t met them again. I wish I could go to their country someday. Ameeen

SINGING PIXIE

Once upon a time there was a kingdom in pixie land. There were a thousand pixie lived there. The pixies had to sang with the  queen in the end of  year  to produce pixie dust which made them can fly and stay alive. The queen had a beautiful daughter named princess melody. Unfortunately, she could not sing like the other pixies because she cursed by the witch. The curse dissapeard if she ate  flower tone which given by a man and she had to married him.
One day, there was a big party to celebrated melody’s birthday. She was 17 years old. The queen worried if she died and the princes stil could not sing then what would happen to the pixie land and pixies. So, the queen held the competition to male pixies to found a flower tone in forbidden forest within a week. They really excited cause the queen had a price  blue pixie dust that made they could fly much longer. But , the queen did not tell about another  price to married with the princess.
The next day, all the participants of the competition ready to went to the forest. There was a dust keeper named clinktone which was bestfriend of the princess. He joined into the competition cause he wanted to help melody. He said “ I would help you to find the flower tone, I promise.” The princess said “I hope you could find it clink, so I could singing for my people”.
Then clinktone went to the forest. He met the big troll that gave him 3 questions. He had to answered them if  he wanted to pass.  The other participants could not passed the troll cause their frightned.
Finally, clinktone  answered all the questions.  So,  he could brought a flower tone. The princess melody ate it then she could sing beautifully. Her singing produced  a lot of pixie dust for the people. Then she married with clinktone and they happily ever after.

Spongebob Squarpants 



Spongebob squarepants is the most popular nickelodeon’s animation.
Physically, He is a yellow square sponge who lived in sea that named Bikini Bottom. He live in a pinnaple house with a pet called gary. Spongebob living next door to his friend Patrick star, a starfish and a neighbor who always hostile: Squidward tentacles, an octopus who does not like to socialize, have a grumpy nature, and like to play Clarinet.
Spongebob is a cook in crusty crab. His boss named Eugene H crab or Mr. crab. He loves everything about money. Spongebob is famous cause he cooks crabby patty and  plankton  whose chum bucket wants to know about it’s recipe and try to steal it.
Spongebob is innocent, optimistic, always cheerful, and has a good prejudice against anyone. He is a clueless, abnormal, immature, fun loving and hyperactive character with a happy-go-lucky personality. He is an extremely determined person, and will often stop at nothing to accomplish a task. . But,  sometimes this behavior is disastrous, utilized, or misunderstanding when combined with the properties of other creatures living in Bikini Bottom.
That is all about the yellow one called spongebob.

Hailo again, Today I will review some  film that I really like it.

1.       Angus thongs and the perfect snogging




Film ini sebenarnya kurang baik ditonton untuk usia dibawah 17 tahun. Kenapa ?
Soalnya dari judulnya ajah udah keliatan kan kalau itu film tentang “snogging”. Hehehe
Tetatpi ga melulu tentang itu kok. Alasan aku suka film ini karena film ini menampilkan peran utama yaitu Georgia Nicolson yang enggak popular dan memiliki banyak kekurangan seperti hidung yang dia selalu anggap seukuran yupiter. GG (Georgia) juga dianggap lucu oleh teman-temannya.  Angus sendiri adalah nama kucing miliknya yang menghubungkan dia dan cinta sejatinya yaitu Robbie. Robbie adalah murid pindahan dari london. GG jatuh cinta padanya bersamaan dengan sahabatnya jas dengan saudara dari robbie yaitu tom. Mereka merencanakan banyak hal untuk menarik perhatian 2 bersaudara itu. Sayangnya, Robbie ternyata pacar dari wanita seksi dan populer yaitu Lindsay. Tapi akhirnya Robbie menyadari bahwa GG lah belahan jiwanya. He said to people, “Georgia is perfect, she’s funny perfect”. Robbie mengatakan di pesta kejutan ulang tahun GG. That is so romantic.
Film ini menunjukan bahwa orang yang benar-benar menyayangi kita akan menerima kita apa adanya. 

2.       Chasing Liberty


Liberty? Kaya nama patung di negeri paman sam.
Yap, ceritanya tentang anak presiden amerika yang jatuh cinta pada salah satu agen rahasia yang ditugaskan untuk menjaganya, Ben calder. Mereka bertemu saat Anna melarikan diri untuk merasakan kebebasan sebenarnya setelah kencannya gagal karena agen rahasia. Awalnya Anna tidak tahu bahwa Ben calder adalah salah satu agen dari Mr. President alias ayahnya. Ben calder memang agen yang professional, namun ia juga engga menampik bahwa ia juga tertarik pada anna foster. Mereka ingin menuju love parade di berlin tapi salah kereta membuat mereka ke venice. Agen yang lain pun kebingungan mencari mereka. Anna dan Ben terjebak dalam hari-hari yang membuat mereka saling jatuh cinta. Ben berjanji membawa Anna ke love parade tapi disanalah Anna tahu bahwa Ben adalah agen suruhan ayahnya. Penasaran lanjutannya ? Nonton ajah langsung.

3.       Shopaholic 


Siapa sih  wanita yang ga suka belanja ?
Film ini nyeritain tentang wanita shopaholic yaitu wanita yang gila belanja. Rebecca Bloomwood adalah  seorang jurnalis di majalah pertanian, walaupun sebenarnya dia ingin sekali bekerja di Alete yaitu majalah fashion. Perusahaan tempat ia bekerja bangkrut, padahal ia punya hutang yang sangat banyak sampai debt collector bernama Derek Smeath selalu menguntitnya untuk menagih hutangnya. Ia pun melamar di Alete, namun sayang lowongan sudah terisi dan resepsionis menunjukan peluang untuk rebecca dengan melamar di majalah Successful Saving, Majalah nasehat keuangan. Ia bertemu dengan Luke Brandon yaitu editor Successful Saving yang ia temui saat ia ingin menukar uang dengan cek pada penjual hotdog untuk membeli scarf. Rebecca masuk ke dalam dunia yang sama sekali tidak ia bayangkan. Sahabatnya pun sampai berkata bagaimana bisa orang dengan banyak hutang menasehati orang lain dalam mengelola uang. Rebecca mengikuti terapi shopaholic untuk mengobati kesenangan berbelanja yang berlebihan. Ia hidup dalam kebohongan karena belanja. Akibatnya ia kehilangan pekerjaanya, kepercayaan suze sahabatnya, sampai orang yang dicintainya Luke brandon. Film ini mengajarkan bahwa ketika seseorang mengatakan satu kebohongan maka terciptalah kebohongan yang lain. Namun sisi baiknya, bagaimana orang itu mau mengakui dan memperbaiki kesalahannya seperti Rebecca. Film ini lucu dan romantis.

4.       She is the man


Tahu kan film olivia yang dulu dibintangi velove vexia?
Nah film itu sebenarnya terinspirasi dari film ini nih. Bedanya cuma nama peran-perannya.
Peran utama dalam film ini adalah viola, gadis yang suka sekali bermain bola. Dia sampai menyamar menjadi kakaknya untuk main bola dan melawan tim lelaki dari sekolahnya yang telah membubarkan tim sepakbola putri. Viola satu kamar dengan Duke orsino, yang akhirnya akan menjadi kekasihnya. Film ini lucu banget. Tingkah viola yang berlagak seperti laki-laki dan bagaimana olivia (gadis yang duke suka) justru menyukainya.

5.       Cinderella Story


Cinderella ? Dongeng tentang gadis yang hidup dengan ibu dan 2 saudara tiri yang jahat dan akhirnya bertemu sang pangeran yang akan menyelamatkan hidupnya. Dongeng klasik yang semua anak tahu mungkin. Nah, film ini menurutku versi modernnya. Mungkin aku termasuk orang yang dapat sindrom cinderella  kali yah makanya aku suka film yang kaya gini. Hahaha
Soalnya hal yang ga mungkin di dunia nyata, bisa ada gambarannya di dunia film. That is why I love film so much.


Itu cuma segelintir drama yang aku suka, masih banyak yang lain. Ada a walk to remember, her best move, new york minutes, bring it on, mean girl, ice princess, high school musical, camp rock, post graduate, and many more.

Tempat wisata di jogjakarta

Tempat yang sudah pernah aku kunjungi di jogjakarta dan magelang yang bagus dan bakal bikin kamu ingin kembali lagi. hehe
  • Borobudur - Magelang 

tempat yang satu ini sangat umum dikunjungi wisatawan baik domestik maupun manca. selain panorama yang indah, kita juga bisa ke museum untuk melihat koleksi apalagi bisa lihat orang terkecil di indonesia juga. Lalu juga ada penayangan video dokumenter Gunung Merapi meletus juga loh.  

  • Pantai Indrayanti
  



Salah satu pantai di jogja ini wajib kamu kunjungi kalau kamu berkunjung ke Jogjakarta. Tempatnya bersih, airnya biru, pasirnya indah. hehehe
Betah deh kalau lama lama disitu.


  • Prambanan



















selain borobudur, prambanan juga tak kalah menarik dan eksotik. Terdapat museum juga yang menampilkan koleksi menarik. Kalau lagi beruntung biasanya bisa melihat pertunjukan gamelan atau kuda lumping. Bisa juga melihat proses seniman jogja melukis. 

  • Taman Pelangi















Kalau udah lelah ke candi sama pantai pas siangnya, kamu bisa ke taman pelangi untuk wisata malam. Tempatnya romantis dan lucu. heheh
Banyak aneka lampion dan lampu warna-warni. Ada juga permainan bola besar yang kamu bisa masuk didalamnya lalu menggelinding di air. :D

  • Taman pintar


















Bisa juga kita mengunjungi tempat peninggalan Ki Hajar Dewantara. Sambil jalan-jalan bisa juga belajar. hehe

  • Malioboro

Enggak lengkap rasanya kalau jalan-jalan tanpa beli buah tangan untuk sanak keluarga. Disini nih pusat oleh-oleh, kita bisa naik becak cuma dengan membayar Rp.5000 saja sudah bisa keliling untuk cari oleh-oleh. Entah itu Bakpia Pathok ataupun t-shirt dan aksesoris. Harganya terjangkau juga loh. 


Nah itu sebagian tempat yang sudah pernah saya kunjungi di Jogja dan magelang. Jangan lupa kunjungi juga kalau ada waktu dan uang. heheh

Kekuatan Mimpi

Mimpi adalah sesuatu yang semua orang miliki di dalam hidup. Barangkali jika seseorang tak memiliki mimpi bisa diragukan apakah ia hidup atau tidak. hehe

"I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one" kutipan lagu buat para pemimpi kaya aku.

Mulai sekarang : CATATLAH MIMPIMU!!!!!
aku dapet inspirasi ini dari sebuah tayangan video sewaktu ospek di universitas. Sebuah video yang menggambarkan akan kekuatan mimpi dari seorang mahasiswa ITB. Waktu itu memang semua peserta diminta menuliskan 100 mimpi atau target yang akan dicapai. 
Mau tidak mau aku mencatatkan mimpi-mimpiku dari yang mulai kecil sampai harapan yang paling besar buat masa depan. 
Kenapa perlu dicatet ?
kita manusia pasti dekat dengan yang namanya penyakit lupa itu sebabnya perlunya semua target yang akan kita capai itu dicatet.
 Tidak hanya dicatat tekad dan usaha juga penting!
percuma kan kalau semua target itu hanya jadi catatan saja. Padahal catatan ini berfungsi sebagai pengingat kita akan apa yang ingin kita capai.
 Finally, Dream comes true 
setelah dicatet terus tekad dan usaha juga maka terwujudlah mimpi-mimpi tersebut satu per satu. Awalnya, mungkin engga sadar kalau satu per satu mimpi itu terwujud tapi setelah lihat catatan mimpi kita, kita akan menyadari betapa besar KEKUATAN MIMPI.
Aku nih contohnya yang udah ngebuktiin kekuatan mimpi tersebut. hehe
Aku tulis ingin membeli laptop akhirnya aku punya. Aku tulis ingin beli camera akhirnya aku punya. Sampai baru-baru ini terwujud satu mimpiku yaitu aku ingin travel ke jogjakarta. hehe
Terbukti kan bahwa mimpi adalah elemen yang fundamental dalam meraih cita-cita kita. hehe
