LESSON PLAN

MATERIAL                : Objects, animals, public buildings contained in the student’s neighborhood, by providing example of friendly behavior environment, confident, and responsibility
TIME                              :  1 × 45 Minutes

A.    Learning objectives
·         The Spiritual
o   After the learning process, the students appreciate the opportunity to learn English as an international language is consistently
·          Social
o   After observing and discussing the text of the oral and written description of the place , the students behave responsibility , caring , cooperation and peace-loving , in implementing functional communication consistently
·          Knowledge
o   After observing and discussing the text of the oral and written descriptions of places , students can explain the social function , the structure of the text and linguistic elements appropriately .
·         Skills
o   After understanding and discussing interpersonal oral and written texts , students can prepare oral and written text to mention the name of a public building that is close to the daily lives of the participants , with the right linguistic elements and good contextual

b.      Question words : What ? Which one ? How many ?
c.       The mention of a singular noun with the 'a' and ' the ' and the plural ( - s )
d.      Pronoun ' it, they , this , that , those , these
e.       The phrase There is / are ..... , Are there ..... ?
f.       Action verbs that designate a very common and related in the simple present tense: be, have, go, play, get, take, etc
g.      Speech, stress word, intonation, spelling, and writing

  1. Pre- activity (5 minutes)
a.       The students respond to greetings and questions and teachers with the condition and prior learning .
b.      The students receive information about the relationship of prior learning with learning that will be implemented .
c.       The students receive information about  competence , material , purpose , benefits , and lessons that will be held.
  1. Whiles activity (30 minutes)
v  Observing (5 minutes)
·         The Students see the impressions of the atmosphere visiting cinemas , in accordance with the situation in the student book page 122
·         With teacher guidance , students discuss whether the characteristic features of the building that shows films in accordance with the building characteristics of the film they've visited.
v   Questioning
·         The teacher directs the students to ask questions about the material or instructional materials about social function , expression that  associated with the material , and linguistic elements.
v  Associating
·         The Students in groups  identify the names of public places based on the image provided by the teacher
·         With teacher guidance students discuss the characteristics of a public place that is in the picture with the help of preposition such as near , next to , in front of and behind
v  Trying
·         The Students in groups create a map of the city that contains a public place with the help of the platform given by the teacher
v  Communicating
·         The Students present a map of the city they have made verbally and briefly
·         The Students gain feedback from teachers and friends about the performance that delivered.
  1. Post- activity (5 minutes)
·         The Students and teacher conclude the material.
·         The Students reflect on the activities that have been carried out.
·         The Students answer the questions that given by the teacher.
